G.I. Milsim and Paintball.de establish Exclusive Distribution Partnership for Germany

G.I. Milsim, makers of the first full line of .50 caliber paintball equipment, and OPM Sports (Paintball.de), Europes largest and longest established online market place for paintball equipement, have created a strategic partnership for the resale of G.I. Milsim 50 caliber products in Germany.

Paintball.de will be the exclusive distribution partner of G.I. Milsim in Germany.

In recent years Germany has struggled with its gun laws - laws which also govern paintball markers.  Specifcally for paintball, the law stated the velocity setting could not exceed 214fps (7.5 joules of energy) for .68 caliber markers.   In order to come into compliance with the law, German paintball enuthiasts needed to make expensive changes to their markers, including "F" Stamp requirements.

Stephen Wildemann of OPM said "Now with the introduction of G.I Milsim's .50 caliber line, Germany can shoot easily at 300fps and still cover all legal aspects of the sport.  A major breakthrough for exisiting and future site owners in Germany"  he continued to confirm the XPSL League in Germany has already accepted and included the use .50 caliber paintballs into their rule book for this coming season.  For additional information about .50 caliber and Germany, click here
